Town Hall Usage Notice:
The Selectmen would like to remind everyone that if you want to use the Town Hall you need to fill out a use of hall contract and have it approved by the Selectmen. Also if wanting to borrow tables or chairs you also need to fill out a contract and have it approved by the Selectmen. Anyone who has a key to the Town Hall is not suppose to give the key to anyone else without approval of the Selectmen. If you have a key for coaching you are only allowed to use the hall for scheduled practices and games you need to fill out a contract for any other uses.

Public Hearing Notice

Town of Monroe, New Hampshire

The Monroe Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Monroe Town Office to receive public comments on proposed amendments to the Subdivision Regulations of the Town of Monroe, New Hampshire.

The amendments include minor editorial corrections and clarifications, updates needed to conform to changes in state law, and additional details on several topics, including, but not limited to, termination of design review, application requirements, notices of decision, reduced requirements for minor lot line adjustments and boundary line agreements, incorporation of standard specifications for road design and construction, maintenance responsibility of private roads, monuments, and fire protection.

The full text of the regulations showing all of the proposed amendments can be viewed at the Town Office during regular business hours. Written comments may be submitted in advance of the hearing addressed to Glen Fearon, Chairman, Monroe Planning Board, PO Box 63, Monroe, N.H. 03771.
