Town Hall Usage Notice:
The Selectmen would like to remind everyone that if you want to use the Town Hall you need to fill out a use of hall contract and have it approved by the Selectmen. Also if wanting to borrow tables or chairs you also need to fill out a contract and have it approved by the Selectmen. Anyone who has a key to the Town Hall is not suppose to give the key to anyone else without approval of the Selectmen. If you have a key for coaching you are only allowed to use the hall for scheduled practices and games you need to fill out a contract for any other uses.

for final changes to the checklist prior to the State Election.

The General Election will be held on November 8th.  Voting in Monroe

will take place at the Town Hall from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.

The Town of Monroe, New Hampshire is seeking proposals from certified public accounting firms relative to the performance of the Town’s annual financial and compliance audits.  Copies of the request for  proposals may be obtained from the Administrative Assistant, 152 Woodsville Road, Monroe, NH  03771 or by email at monroeselectmen@monroenh.org.  Responses must be received no later than 12 noon on October 28, 2022.

The Selectmen of the Town of Monroe reserve the right to accept or reject any or all proposals submitted in response to this request.

Administrative Aide – PT

The Town of Monroe is seeking a part-time (up to 15 hours/week which may include evenings) Administrative Aide.  Duties include, but are not limited to:  Filing, records retention, water bill mailing, entering water payments and backup to Administrative Assistant which may include  occasional payroll and accounts payable. Tires will no longer be accepted except  on Big Trash Day (next date is Setember 18, 2021). They will be limited to less than 21" and tires that ARE NOT mounted on rims.

This change is being made due to recent abuse.

RECYCLING CLARIFICATION

PLEASE DO NOT PUT PLASTIC BAGS IN THE PAPER BIN.  ONLY PAPER SHOULD BE PUT INTO THE PAPER BIN.

#1 PLASTIC:   Only clear Plastic Bottles are allowed - no food containers should be put into this bin.

#2 PLASTIC:  Includes Milk/Water Jugs, Detergent, Soap Containers

Reminder:  All cardboard must be flattened.
