Town Hall Useage Notice

The Selectmen would like to remind everyone that if you want to use the Town Hall you need to fill out a use of hall contract and have it approved by the Selectmen. Also if wanting to borrow tables or chairs you also need to fill out a contract and have it approved by the Selectmen. Anyone who has a key to the Town Hall is not supposed to give the key to anyone else without approval of the Selectmen. If you have a key for coaching you are only allowed to use the hall for scheduled practices and games you need to fill out a contract for any other uses.

Monroe Public Hearing

The Town of Monroe will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.

This will take place at the Monroe Town Office – Selectmen Office. The purpose is to review and approve the over Expenditures in the FY 2024 Budget due to the July 10, 2024 Storm.

Supervisor of the Checklist Meeting

The Supervisor of the Checklist will meet on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 7 until 7:30 p.m. in the Planning Room at the Town Office located at 152 Woodsville Road in Monroe. Any changes or corrections to the Voter Checklist can be made at that time.

At the Monroe Town Office on December 3, 2024 at 7:15 p.m.

For a Hearing on the following application:

 Site Plan Review – Peter and Gerry Organic Eggs

Located at Map R08, Lot 02

 

The applications will be reviewed and may be brought forward

For final approval at this or future Planning Board meetings.

Regular Planning Board meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month.

 

 

To All Monroe Water Customers:

Due to continued increases in costs for repair and operation of the water system, the following price increases will go into effect as of July 1, 2024.

Water rate will increase from $6.33 per 1,000 gallons to $8.00 per 1,000 gallons. Also the meter rate will increase from $10 per quarter to $12 per quarter.

Overall, the average bill will increase between $10 and $12 per quarter.
